The Airline Leader Summit - Airlines in Transition is the leading event in CAPA’s global series of aviation and travel industry summits. It was held on 8-9 May 2025 in Athens, Greece, the Airlines in Transition event brought together CAPA’s industry-leading knowledge of the aviation sector with industry leaders and independent experts that delivered thought leadership about where global air travel is headed.
With some stability reasserting itself in global travel markets, it may seem that the pace of change in the travel sector is slowing. Yet, appearances can be deceiving. The industry’s response to the pandemic is still playing out, and the far-reaching decisions made during the depths of crisis are still playing themselves out in unexpected ways.
Airlines are undergoing a deep transition in the way they do business. Changes in technology, business models, sustainability, consumer attitudes and workforces are producing a cascade of disruption through the industry. How airlines respond to this and stay agile to manage and benefit from these changes are still open questions.
CAPA at the 2025 Airline Leader Summit - Airlines in Transition was a platform where delegates learnt about how the industry is changing, what approaches airline leaders are taking to change management and what the future of the industry will look like.
